(Patria) - Football club Željezničar has bid farewell to Dženan Uščuplić, a former youth player of the club who died today from a lightning strike on Zelengora.
"With sadness and regret, we inform the public that Dženan Uščuplić, former youth player of Željezničar and former player and coach of Sarajevo, tragically passed away at the age of 49.
FK Željezničar extends its deepest condolences to the Uščuplić family, friends, and all mourners.
We will remember and respect you as the greatest sports rival.
May your soul rest in peace," the statement from FK Željezničar reads.
