FK Sarajevo signs professional contracts with four members of the youth academy

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Four trainees from FK Sarajevo's youth selection officially signed contracts with the club today.

The new first-team players from Koševo are Dino Islamović, Numan Kurdić, Šefkija Resić, and Hamza Bašić, who became members of Sarajevo's senior squad upon the recommendation of the head coach of the junior team, Dženan Uščuplić.

Sports segment coordinator Emir Hadžić emphasized that one of the goals of the new members of the Management Board is to focus on young players.

- When the new group of people joined the Management Board, we said that one of the goals should be the academy. They showed that we have quality academy players in the championship where we are champions in all categories, and in the completed Friendship Cup tournament in Zlatibor. We decided to focus more on the academy. In the coming days, we will sign more professional and scholarship contracts with young players to show them that we are following their work - said Hadžić.

Resić, Kurdić, and Osmanović signed three-year contracts, while Bešić committed to Sarajevo for a period of five years.
