Rudo Mayoral Candidate Marko Novaković Physically Attacked

(Patria) - The president of the Municipal Organization of the People's Front and candidate for the Mayor of Rudo Municipality, Marko Novaković, was physically attacked.

A correspondent for BN TV reports that Novaković was physically attacked while he was sitting with friends in front of a catering facility in the center of Rudo.

According to the statement of Slaviša Simić, who was present at the scene, a worker from the Communal Enterprise with the initials D.Č. suddenly approached him, and after uttering curses, hit him on the head in the area of the nose and eyes.

An ambulance and members of the local Police Station arrived at the scene.

Novaković was transferred from the Rudo Health Center to the hospital in Foča.
