PHYSICALLY ATTACKED Hodžić reported Jajce Police Chief Bare Pršlja to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Central Bosnia

(Patria) - After a scandalous attack occurred last week in Jajce within the premises of the Jajce Police Administration, when the chief of PU Bare Pršlja severely beat an official of the Administrative Affairs Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton for the municipalities of Jajce and Dobretići, Esad Hodžić, a formal report against Pršlja was officially submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Central Bosnia today.

This was confirmed to Patria by Hodžić, who submitted the report today.

We remind you that Hodžić was physically attacked by Pršlja after Pršlja had previously called him into his office where a fellow citizen and acquaintance was present, who had come to report Hodžić for allegedly hiding documents.

According to Hodžić, that person claims that he was exerting some kind of pressure on him to endow his house to the Islamic Community, which Hodžić denies.

"I don't know how I could force someone to do that," says Hodžić.

He adds that he did not want to argue too much with the chief about it because, as he says, it was not within his jurisdiction to deal with it.

When he wanted to leave the office, he addressed that man and said: "For God's sake, do you believe even a speck in God, are you afraid of God, to make such reports and such accusations?"

Then Chief Pršlja started insulting him, calling him a fraud and a criminal, to which he, as he says, replied that "there is a God".

"That angered the bully that I invoked God, he said: 'Don't mention God to me', jumped up and started hitting me, first with an open palm to the left side of my head and ear, and then with his feet on my thighs," claims Hodžić.

Then Pršlja continued to hit him in the hallway, and then "dragged him" down the stairs to the duty officer and asked him to place him in custody, which did not happen.

Hodžić claims that he was shocked first by the report from his fellow citizen, to whom, as he says, he had given certain legal advice, and he is particularly shocked, he says, by the fact that he was verbally, and then physically, attacked by the chief in front of that man, even though as the head of the Department, he should be his primary associate.

Hodžić reported everything to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Central Bosnia because he "received information that everything is being attempted to be covered up in the Ministry of Internal Affairs".
