Fiscal Council unanimously rejected the IMF's request for a meeting

(Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija held the tenth session of the BiH Fiscal Council today via video link. The Fiscal Council considered the Proposal of the global framework for fiscal balance and policies in BiH for the period 2022 - 2024, which envisages an increase in indirect tax revenue allocations for BiH institutions, and it was concluded that it would not be declared at today's session, in order to hold additional consultations and establish a unified position of the Fiscal Council.

The Fiscal Council unanimously rejected the request of the International Monetary Fund for a meeting, in connection with the letter sent to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers on November 2, this year by the Head of the IMF Mission in BiH Alina Ijancu.

The session of the Fiscal Council, chaired by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, Ministers of Finance in the Government of Republika Srpska Zora Vidović and in the Government of FBiH Jelka Milićević, Mayor of Brčko District Esed Kadrić, and Governor of the Central Bank of BiH Senad Softić.
