Filip successfully underwent bone marrow transplant

Filip Blažević (24) from Zenica, a student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo, was severely ill with acute leukemia and is undergoing treatment in Germany. His friends animated the public to join the humanitarian campaign to raise money for Filip's treatment, writes the Patria News Agency.

Filip posted a picture on his Facebook profile this morning and wrote:

-Hereeee, finally an update, really sorry I didn't post sooner. The transplant was performed last night in the evening. Everything went as it should, with a slight increase in temperature, which is not unusual. I couldn't update because since last Sunday I've had nausea, vomiting, stomach pains, so I was really....excuse me.

Due to the effects of chemotherapy, which is aggressive in the preparatory phase, the bladder was damaged, so now I'm struggling with that, unpleasant pain, a catheter, water retention....

BUT DESPITE EVERYTHING, WE ARE MOVING FORWARD STRONGLY, I AM REALLY SORRY I DIDN'T UPDATE, I HOPE I WILL FEEL BETTER BY TOMORROW SO WE CAN TALK...
