Filip Blažević from Zenica still needs our help

Filip Blažević, a 23-year-old young man from Zenica who has fallen ill with acute leukemia, is undergoing treatment in Germany and still needs our help, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As Patria previously reported, he requires long-term treatment that demands significant financial resources, which the Blažević family cannot provide on their own. Those who wish to help can do so in the following way.

Incidentally, Filip posts comments about his condition and treatment phases on his Facebook profile. Yesterday he wrote that the first cycle of chemotherapy has been completed.

- Now follows a phase where I receive some antibiotics and similar poisons, where they observe how my body reacts to the previous therapy. Common side effects are elevated temperature and nausea... so that in the final phase I receive various concentrates to make my body look healthy, after which there will probably be about 7 days of break.... Currently, the toilet bowl is one of my better friends, but I try to ensure that this love is not mutual; somehow it's not my type.
