Fikret Hodžić: I haven't found my father's remains yet, and I bury several Hodžićs every year

Fikret Hodžić, television host and author of the book "I am also from Srebrenica," told the BiH news agency Patria that he still hasn't found the remains of his murdered father, and that he experiences the same pain every year on the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica. Every year he buries someone from his close and extended family. This year he will bury two family members.

- Every year the feeling is the same, it's hard to describe, it's not easy for me at all - Hodžić said.

Hodžić described the agony he went through with his mother and brother while escaping Srebrenica to the free territory in his book "I am also from Srebrenica." Although he wanted to give up writing several times, his book is today his greatest motivator and a reminder that one should never give up and should always move forward.

- A great crime happened in Srebrenica. I wanted to do something that would remind future generations of it - said Hodžić, writes Patria.
