Ferguson in Konjic overseeing election process

The British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edward Ferguson, is in Konjic today as an observer, while around 20 other employees of the British Embassy are deployed throughout BiH to monitor the election process, writes the BiH news agency Patria. He posted photos from his "workplace" on his Twitter profile, as well as a beautiful panorama of Konjic with the caption "a good excuse to spend the day in Konjic. Beautiful."

Ferguson, before taking up his duties as ambassador, intensively studied the language to be able to communicate with people and hear what they have to say. He recently started writing a blog, on which he urged the citizens of BiH to go to the polls.

More than 50,000 observers are monitoring this year's election process, with 552 observers from 38 international organizations and 5,073 from 29 associations. These are rare elections to which international institutions such as USAID, OSCE, and the EU Delegation to BiH, among others, have paid significant attention, writes Patria.
