Feraget: Criminal complaint filed against more than 40 individuals, Dalida Burzić is number one

(Patria) - The family of the late Dženan Memić gathered peacefully today in front of the KS Prosecutor's Office building and demanded the resignation of the chief cantonal prosecutor, Sabina Sarajlija. The gathered crowd was also addressed by the family's lawyer, Ifet Feraget.

"Regarding Dalida Burzić, there is no order to conduct an investigation. There are a whole range of reasons why a prosecutor can be suspended. We have the right to ask ourselves if every prosecutor can file a false indictment. Here, people must be prosecuted, which does not mean they will be punished," Feraget told reporters and added:

"There are more prosecutors, and all of them should have been prosecuted. We demand accountability; by filing a false indictment, you have not saved time that protects you from prosecution. It has been shown that the rule of law does not exist in this case."

According to him, they will let the BiH Prosecutor's Office "do its job."

"We will let the BiH Prosecutor's Office do its job in peace; this is the third court dealing with this case, and the case is such that a lawyer with little experience would resolve it in 30 days. If you are investigating and prosecuting organized crime, it is no longer about traffic accidents, and that is clear to everyone.

It is an attempt to convince all of us not to believe our eyes, our reason, but them. I filed a criminal complaint against more than 40 individuals, with Dalida Burzić being number one."

He also stated that prosecutors do not have the right to special protection.

"I have said many times that criminals sit in prosecutor's offices. Prosecutors do not have the right to special protection. Like any citizen, they must be held accountable as soon as there is a basis for suspicion. In the Dženan Memić case, no one says where the green van came from? Let Dalida Burzić say who she met with on Vlašić? Why did she go and meet in Banja Luka?"
