Fejzić for NAP: They attacked my house, my daughter was traumatized, but they can't scare me, I am a wartime commander and he is a deserter

(Patria) - The scenario under which everything happened is de facto an attack on me and my house, said Edhem Fejzić, a politician from Goražde and wartime commander, who was attacked by Hubjer Emir (a representative in the BPK Goražde Assembly and president of the Novi početak party) and an unknown person, at the beginning of his conversation with the Patria Agency.

The background of the whole story, according to Fejzić, are political tensions in the BPK Assembly.

“Hubjer spoke with me on several occasions, and I made it clear to him that as long as this majority, which has ruined the Bosniak-Podrinje Canton, which is criminally running this canton, exists, my daughter will not support him, or rather, she will if he leaves the existing one and joins the majority that the current opposition will form,” Fejzić points out.

Both Edim and Berina Fejzić were called several times to discuss the parliamentary majority.

“Berina was called several times, she didn't answer. They called me, but I didn't answer their calls either. Last night, around 8:30 PM, Hubjer and some of his criminals appeared at the door to scare me and my daughter. No one can scare me, I am a wartime commander who led 3,000 men, I was seriously wounded five times and I didn't lose an inch of the front line. I told him I didn't care if I lived or died... and he was trying to persuade Berina to come to the Assembly session. When I said she wouldn't come, the two of them started hitting me. My daughter suffered a great psychological shock at that moment, but she called the police, as I asked her to,” Fejzić told Patria.

Before the police arrived and took statements, Hubjer and his escort left. Fejzić adds that after the attack, coalition partners visited his daughter while he went to a medical facility.

“I went to the BPK MUP and gave a statement, and then to the Emergency Room for a check-up. Today I gave a full statement and review of the events. It is unbelievable that someone attacks your house and is not detained according to legal regulations. They inflicted injuries on my arms and head, I had an X-ray and a CT scan of my head. I cannot comprehend that this is happening to us in Goražde, which is one of the safest cities. A man came from the diaspora, fled during the war, and now he has come to lecture us, thinking he can buy everything with money,” Fejzić emphasizes.

He explains that the BPK Prosecutor's Office has ordered an investigation, and regardless of that process, Fejzić says that he and his daughter Berina will file a private lawsuit against Hubjer.

Fejzić concludes by saying that it is certain that the core of the new majority will be formed by SDA and SDP, and that Hubjer tried by all means to make Berina Fejzić part of the existing majority and thus prevent changes in the BPK Goražde government.
