Federal Ministry of Health: Recommendation to suspend classes for two weeks

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Health held a new press conference today after the session of the Crisis Staff. 

"We will propose that the holding of classes in schools, faculties, and public gatherings be suspended for two weeks," said Minister Vjekoslav Mandić, explaining that students who do not attend school should not gather in public places due to the fear of further spread of the virus. The suspension of classes should be effective from March 12. 

The new order of the Federal Crisis Staff is that all those who have returned from Germany, Spain, and France must be quarantined for a period of 14 days.

384 people are under epidemiological surveillance in the FBiH, and 32 people have been tested, of which three are positive.

Minister Mandić explained that hospitals currently have a sufficient number of ventilators in case of severe cases. There are a total of 141 ventilators in the FBiH. He called on citizens to behave responsibly.
