Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy co-finances the construction of the first day center in Ilidža

(Patria) - Federal Minister of Labour and Social Policy Adnan Delić signed an agreement today with the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality Nermin Muzur on co-financing the project of constructing the first day center for the support of children with developmental disabilities.

On this occasion, Minister Delić emphasized that through co-financing programs for projects in the community, the Ministry strives to keep its word and show genuine commitment and support to local communities and associations working on the implementation of programs and projects for the most vulnerable members of our society. 

“A few months ago, I discussed with Mayor Muzur the need to establish a large day center that would offer all social and educational-recreational services for children with developmental disabilities. Today, we signed a co-financing agreement, thereby demonstrating our commitment to assisting the Municipality of Ilidža, financially and in every other way, so that this center can soon open its doors to its future users,” stated Minister Delić.

Mayor Muzur points out that the Ministry's funds will be sufficient for the first phase of the construction of this center, and that this is significant support that will accelerate the construction and opening of the first day center in the area of Ilidža Municipality. 

With the adoption of the Law on Social Services in FBiH, this day center will have funds available from the budget of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy through co-financing of social services in local communities, in addition to funds from the municipal budget.
