Federal Parliamentarians Have Two Sessions Today, Budget for 2025 on the Agenda

(Patria) - Two sessions of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH - an urgent and a regular one - are scheduled for today in Sarajevo.

The urgent session, scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM, will consider a total of five agenda items.

The first item is the Proposal of the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2025 - urgent procedure.

FBiH Government Adopts Budget for 2025 in the Amount of 8.24 Billion KM

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's session in Sarajevo, upon the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Finance, adopted the Proposal of the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2025 in the amount of 8,248,547,700 KM, which is being considered under urgent procedure

The FBiH Government adopted the budget for 2025 in the amount of 8.25 billion KM. This budget is 773 million KM higher compared to last year.

50 million KM will be allocated for flooded areas, and 77 million KM for the Solidarity Fund. An allocation of 337 million KM is planned for pensions, 183 million KM for agriculture, and 200 million KM for cantons.

45 million KM is foreseen for clinical centers in the Federation of BiH, while 100 million KM will be distributed to craftspeople and entrepreneurs.

The representatives will also, under urgent procedure, consider the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Budgets in the Federation of BiH, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on Granting Consent to the Financial Plan of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the FBiH for 2025 and the Decision on the Execution of the Financial Plan of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the FBiH for 2025.

Also on the agenda, under urgent procedure, is the Proposal of the Decision on Granting Consent to the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Service for 2025 and the projection for 2026 and 2027, and the Decision on the Execution of the Financial Plan of the Federal Employment Service for 2025.

Upon completion of the urgent session, a regular session of the House of Representatives will follow with 16 agenda items. Among other things, the representatives will discuss several legal solutions, as well as information on activities, measures, and the rehabilitation and reconstruction of areas affected by floods.
