Federal delegates to discuss set of veteran laws today

(Patria) - The House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament will convene in Sarajevo today, starting at 12 PM.

The proposed agenda includes 13 items, with the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Decision U-5/24 of 30.05.2024 to be addressed first.

By urgent procedure, at the proposal of the Collegium of the House of Peoples, the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Peoples should be considered.

Delegates will also consider the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Rights of Demobilized Fighters and their Families (urgent procedure), as well as the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Special Rights of Recipients of War Decorations and Medals and their Families (urgent procedure).


Proposed agenda for the session

The agenda also includes the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Rights of Fighters and their Families (urgent procedure), as well as the Bill on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Spatial Planning and Land Use at the FBiH level.

The Bill on Air Protection, the Strategy for the Development of the Social and Child Protection System in FBiH (2024-2030), the Proposal of the Decision on Accepting the Indebtedness under the Financing Agreement between BiH and the European Investment Bank for the Implementation of the Vlašić Wind Farm Project, are also on the proposed agenda.

Furthermore, the Proposal of the Decision on Accepting the Indebtedness under the Loan Agreement between BiH and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Implementation of the Corridor Vc Mostar North - Mostar South Project, the Quarterly Debt Report Q3/2023, the Annual Borrowing Plan for 2024 will be considered, and elections and appointments will be the last item on the agenda.
