Federal Government considers Law on Games of Chance

At today's session of the Government of the Federation of BiH, held in Sarajevo, ministers will consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Games of Chance. This was preceded by a public debate conducted in accordance with the conclusion of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH, Patria reports.

Provisions have been supplemented regarding the fact that the Law, among other things, regulates matters related to obligations for socially responsible organization of games of chance, prohibited activities, and taxation of winnings from games of chance and prize games.

Members of the Government will also declare themselves on the drafts of three laws stipulating that Goražde, Cazin and Livno acquire city status, which would, among other things, facilitate their access to European development funds.

At the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, today's session will discuss the adoption of a Grant Funds Distribution Program worth 4,380,000 KM for the implementation of nine projects for the development of entrepreneurial zones.

The same ministry also proposed a Decision on allocating 2,000,000 KM of budget funds for the implementation of the Program “Credit Incentive for Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts”.

On the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, the agenda includes the Plan for Return, Construction and Sustainable Development for 2017, worth 22,600,000 convertible marks.
