Federal Government Allocates 2 Million KM Each to Airports in Tuzla and Mostar

The Federal Government has made four decisions regarding the allocation of funds for air traffic in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. With one of the decisions, 430,000 KM has been allocated to JP Airport Tuzla, intended for subsidizing part of the operational material costs, reports Patria.

The second decision involves an amount of 1,570,000 KM for the same airport, and the funds will be used for the improvement and upgrade of approach lights, projects for the construction of a new passenger terminal building with accompanying equipment, renovation of the runway and aviation fuel storage terminal, and for the procurement of cargo equipment.

The same amount of 1,570,000 KM has been allocated to JP Airport Mostar, and the funds are intended for the procurement of vehicles and equipment for aircraft and passenger reception and dispatch, security service equipment, IT equipment, master plan - conceptual design, reconstruction of the terminal building and upgrade of the video surveillance system, construction and establishment of a cargo center, projects and conceptual designs for the Airport, as well as for fire-fighting equipment.

With the fourth decision, Airport Mostar has been granted 430,000 KM for current expenses, property and personal insurance for 2016, energy costs, staff training, participation in trade fairs, employee medical examination costs, and for current equipment maintenance (spare parts).
