
(Patria) - The 26th regular session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH concluded in Sarajevo this evening, approving several decisions.
Among them is the one concerning the borrowing by the Federation of BiH from the Council of Europe Development Bank for the reconstruction and equipping of two psychiatric hospitals - in Sarajevo and Mostar.
This is a loan amounting to 3.4 million euros for the stated purposes, with a repayment period of up to 20 years, including a grace period of up to five years.
By majority vote, several reports on the work of federal institutions - agencies or funds - were approved. These include reports on the execution of the work programs of the Federal Agency for Privatization Audit from the year before last and last year, as well as on the work of JP Filmski centar Sarajevo in 2024.
An analytical report from the FBiH Environmental Protection Fund for 2023 was also approved, and by the will of the majority, a decision on borrowing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the implementation of a public building project in the Tuzla Canton was harmonized.
Two extraordinary sessions of the House of Representatives are announced for tomorrow - a morning session (at 9:00 AM) with one agenda item: "Information on alleged illegal actions of Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and interference in the work of the police authorities of the Federation of BiH", and an afternoon session (at 3:00 PM) on job losses in the Federation of BiH last year and this year.
