FBiH loses control over commodity reserves, director Bavrka makes decisions alone

Director of the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves Tončo Bavrka has employed the daughter of his predecessor Hrvoje Dragoje, one Nera Dragoje, in the Directorate, BH news agency Patria learns.

The Government of the Federation adopted a Decision in April this year banning employment in institutions of the FBiH Government. That decision is in effect until September 1 this year, but Bavrka did not respect the Government's decision, so during June (?) he employed one Nera in the Directorate, sources from the Directorate told Patria.

The Directorate has been shaken for some time by a scandal involving millions in crime, which particularly escalated when Bavrka took over the Directorate. The Center for Investigative Journalism published a detailed analysis in mid-July about irregularities in the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves. The CIN reveals that oil worth about 6.4 million KM and grain worth about 1.6 million disappeared from the Directorate.

News agency Patria obtained evidence at the beginning of the year that investigators are collecting documentation that could also prove crime in the disappearance of canned meat from the warehouse of the company "Farmko" from Široki Brijeg, which were also owned by the Federal Directorate for Commodity Reserves.
