Twenty-five-year-old Faruk Podrug, a student at the Faculty of Forestry in Sarajevo, passed away this morning after a battle with a serious illness, writes the BH news agency Patria.
After being diagnosed with T-lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia two years ago, he underwent eight chemotherapy treatment cycles.
Faruk's condition improved, but in August 2014, the disease relapsed, progressing into T-lymphoblastic leukemia.
He left the hospital two days ago and found his final peace among his loved ones.
