Faruk Dević: Sarajevo authorities are systematically continuing attacks and undermining the University of Sarajevo!

(Patria) - The arrogance and ignorance of the ruling factions in the Sarajevo Canton have not bypassed the University of Sarajevo, which has become the main target of anonymous complaints, which are, surprisingly, acted upon in the shortest possible time, says Faruk Dević, a member of the UNSA Management Board, in his reaction.

"If state bodies were as efficient in solving burning problems as they are in resolving fictitious complaints, we would be no different than Switzerland. Favoring interest groups has become the ruling policy, which is being successfully implemented by the Canton authorities, who act as a flow-through boiler for them.

It is evident that these same interest groups do not aim to improve interests, but to seize control of the University of Sarajevo's budget, which amounts to over 800 million convertible marks during one leadership mandate.

And that everything is escalating to a higher level, driven by panic and fear that their claws won't get on that budget, is evidenced by the orchestrated attack on my successors in the Student Parliament. In an extremely reckless manner, these interest groups, known as anonymous complainants, are furiously attacking Imran Pašalić, who is bravely fighting for the progress of the University, for which he has my full support.

Given that I assume this status of mine will be the subject of another fictitious complaint, I would briefly say to all those who will read it in the documents:

The University budget is not a private budget, but belongs to all of us, the citizens. The interest of the University is not the interest of the powerful, but the public interest of society and the state. It was here long before us, and it will be long after us, educating generations, improving society, and building the state. Let everyone know that", the reaction states.
