At the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Sarajevo, a press conference will be held on Wednesday, October 28 at 10 a.m., reports the Patria news agency.
The conference is called with the aim of informing the public about the possibility of forced debt collection by the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would have unforeseeable consequences primarily for students, but also for employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Sarajevo.
The debt arose in the period 2002-2012 due to non-payment of contributions and taxes.
Journalists will be addressed by: Prof. Dr. Davorka Završnik, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Đenita Krnić, LL.B., Secretary of the Faculty, and Lamija Selman, LL.B., expert associate for legal and personnel affairs.
The Faculty of Pharmacy currently has about 1,000 students and 65 employees. In the event of a freeze on the transaction account due to forced tax collection, classes at the Faculty could be suspended, which would directly jeopardize the rights of students and employees, the Faculty's statement reads.
