Fahir used his last moments to help others

Zenica is still in shock after learning that five miners did not survive the rock burst that occurred the day before yesterday around 5 PM, writes the Patria News Agency. The bodies of five miners from the Raspotočje mine are expected to be recovered today, after which an autopsy will be performed.

All five deceased were family men, and relatives and neighbours speak only the best of them. Fahir Halač (33) left behind two children, and his sons still do not know that their father has passed away. Fahir was also active on social media, and his last post on Facebook was on September 3rd, just one day before his death.

The post he shared was of a humanitarian nature, an appeal for help for hungry children in Africa. Halač often tried to help people throughout his life, as evidenced by his Facebook posts.

Halač was well-liked in society and a great joker, so among other things, to make people laugh, he often wore a t-shirt with the inscription "If God grants me health, I will take sick leave".
