European Left supports SDP BiH in the October 2nd elections

The Party of European Socialists has supported the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP) in the local elections in BiH on October 2nd, NAP reports.

The letter of support states that people in Bosnia and Herzegovina need an even stronger Social Democratic Party that can provide and offer them social development, sustainable growth, and decent jobs.

- Dear President Nikšić, dear Nermin. On Sunday, October 2nd, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will go out and vote in the local elections. This electoral process represents a key choice for your country and its people. That is why I want to strongly confirm my support for you, the Party, and your 2,066 candidates for municipal councils in 98 municipalities and 36 candidates for mayors - the letter from the European Left states.

- We are confident that your goal, which we support, to create a Bosnia and Herzegovina for all and with equal rights for all, will meet the expectations of the citizens. We believe that your party will be rewarded for the work of improving the lives of citizens in the municipalities and cities where you have mayors. The progress and success you have achieved will surely convince even more voters to entrust the SDP. Many more mayors and councilors will, surely, join the already strong presence of the SDP at the local level.
