European Commission: Gas supply reduction to BiH up to 60%

The European Commission for Energy is concerned about the reduction of gas supply from Russia to European countries, writes ogj.com, reports the BiH news agency Patria. 

According to a report by the European Commission, the reduction in gas supply to Eastern European EU member states and the Energy Community will be most felt in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Kosovo.

Finland, Estonia, Macedonia, BiH, and Serbia will face a reduction of up to 60% of their needs, which will particularly affect private households.

Clear measures to mitigate the consequences of gas reduction for European countries do not yet exist, and BiH does not even have reserves it could use.

For several days now, BiH has been receiving less gas than its actual needs. Officials are silent, and winter is getting closer.
