Euro-Asfalt in the Project of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community 'A Thousand Packages for a Thousand Returnee Families in the RS'

Bosnia and Herzegovina construction company Euro-Asfalt responded to the call of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community of BiH to participate in the large project „A Thousand Packages for a Thousand Returnee Families in the Republika Srpska“, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

From Sarajevo, convoys with packages of food and hygiene supplies for the most vulnerable categories of returnees set off for Foča, Žepa, Bratunac, Srebrenica, and Rogatica over the past weekend.

- We had absolutely no doubts about whether to participate in this project, of which we were a part in previous years, and we will always respond. Perhaps we cannot do much to generally improve the lives of these people, but we can brighten and ease their Ramadan days, and then the upcoming Eid days. We visited these people; they need every help, but it seems to us that what they need most is the feeling that they are not alone and abandoned - they say in Euro-Asfalt.

The value of the packages averaged 120 KM, and they contained flour, oil, salt, sugar, coffee, pasta, instant soups, canned food, sweets, detergents, and personal hygiene products.

In addition to Euro-Asfalt, the companies Klas, Securitas, BBI banka, and BBI Real Estate responded to the call of the Riyasat. The total value of this donation exceeds one hundred thousand marks.

We remind you that Euro-Asfalt provided wholehearted assistance to numerous municipalities affected by last year's floods. With this latest donation, they only confirm their social engagement and social sensitivity.
