Euro-Asfalt signs a contract worth 10 million BAM in Montenegro

Today in Podgorica, a contract worth almost 10 million marks was signed between Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro AD Podgorica on one side and the Bosnian-Herzegovinian company Euro-Asfalt as the leader of the consortium, which also includes GIP Konstruktor Belgrade and Makspro Belgrade on the other, reports Patria agency.

The subject of the Contract is the rehabilitation of six large slopes on the Vrbnica – Bar railway line, and it includes the preparation of the main project as well as all construction works (preparatory and finishing, earthworks, locksmith and steel, concrete and reinforced concrete).

The contract was signed on behalf of the Consortium of contractors by Hamed Ramić, General Director of Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. Sarajevo, and Executive Director Milan Ćolaković on behalf of Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro.

Ramić thanked for the trust placed in the consortium he represents and expressed hope that the cooperation between Montenegrin institutions and BiH companies will continue. He also expressed his conviction that the work will be completed within the contractually stipulated deadline of 20 months.

This is the second valuable contract signed by Euro-Asfalt in Montenegro.

We remind you that at the end of last year, a contract worth more than 80 million marks was signed for the construction and reconstruction of a 14-kilometer long route on the Lubnice – Jezerine section (Lubnice – Kolašin locality).

The construction site was opened in May this year in the presence of a high delegation of the Government of Montenegro, including the Prime Minister.
