(Patria) - EUFOR announced today that the accident in which an Armed Forces of BiH (AF BiH) helicopter crashed into Lake Jablanica did not occur as part of the 'Quick Response' exercise, but during a field exercise of the AF and the Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Konjic.
Regarding media reports that the helicopter crashed as part of this exercise, EUFOR stated that the soldiers and equipment of the Armed Forces of BiH are not included in this year's 'Quick Response' exercise.
They expressed regret over the accident, emphasizing that they are glad the four-member crew survived the crash.
"We wish the injured a speedy recovery," EUFOR announced.
