EU provides one million euros for democratization and human rights projects in BiH

The European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina has announced a Call for project proposals that will contribute to the development and consolidation of democracy and the rule of law, as well as respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

To this end, the European Union has provided one million euros through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) programme, supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina as a beneficiary country in 2014.

For the purposes of this Call, an organisation can apply for funds ranging from €100,000 to €200,000, while the initially planned activities cannot last less than 20 or more than 36 months.
