Ashton: We want to economically and politically help BiH

We want to find the broadest possible strategy to help Bosnia and Herzegovina move forward, stated this morning before the meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Brussels, Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Before the start of the meeting, after which a discussion on BiH is expected, but not the adoption of conclusions or a new strategy, Ashton said that she would inform the heads of diplomacy about the situation in our country.

- Today I will inform the ministers about the situation in Sarajevo, where we want to find the broadest possible strategy to help BiH move forward economically and politically. It is a country where leaders truly need to show their leadership. This need was confirmed once again by my talks with representatives of civil society in Sarajevo – said Ashton, reports NAP.
