SARAJEVO, (Patria) - US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar is on a working visit to BiH, and today he held his first meeting at the BiH Presidency with the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić.
Komšić and Escobar discussed the current political situation, the blockade that BiH has been in since the end of July. The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador Eric Nelson.
Escobar will also meet separately with Šefik Džaferović and Milorad Dodik.
The American diplomat will remain in BiH until Wednesday, and numerous meetings are planned in the State and Federal Parliaments, as well as a trip to Banja Luka.
