Erdogan with Izetbegović: Turkey will resolutely oppose any attempt at separatism

(Patria) - SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan exchanged Eid greetings in a phone call, and also discussed the current situation in BiH and the region.

Erdogan took the opportunity to wish all Bosniaks a happy Eid, with a message that Turkey is closely monitoring the situation and stands firmly with BiH.

He particularly emphasized that Turkey will resolutely oppose any attempt at separatism, as it has done so far.


Izetbegović thanked Erdogan for the continuous support that friendly Turkey and its people provide to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also thanked the Turkish President for his personal engagement regarding Gaza, and expressed hope that the terror against the innocent Palestinian people will be stopped as soon as possible, the SDA announced.
