EPBiH clarifies conditions under which electricity price is limited within market supply

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The amendment to the Law on Electricity in the FBiH and the Decision of the FBiH Government of January 7 this year explicitly refer to the limitation of electricity prices for customers within market supply, and the amendment to the Law  does not cover other legal provisions and obligations arising from it, including the obligation of customers to submit a request for a supply offer, it is stated in a press release from JP Elektroprivreda BiH.
 
Reminding of the aforementioned obligation, JP Elektroprivreda BiH calls on high and medium voltage customers with whom supply contracts for this year were signed in 2021 to, if they believe they will achieve more favorable conditions, initiate the contracting process by sending a request to JP Elektroprivreda BiH for the submission of an offer.
 
After fulfilling this obligation, customers acquire the right to apply the amended Article 16 of the Law on Electricity in the FBiH and the Decision of the FBiH Government on limiting prices for supply in 2022.
