European Judo Championship for Cadets: Last Day of Individual Competition

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On the penultimate day of the European Judo Championship, which began on Thursday, the last five sets of medals in individual competition will be awarded.

Female judokas will compete in two categories: up to 70 kg and over 70 kg.

Bosnia and Herzegovina representative Anđela Jurić will compete in the up to 70 kg category against Portuguese representative Andreia Serrao. Vesna Vukoja and Hana Piralić will compete in the over 70 kg category. Vukoja will face Ruslana Bulavina from Ukraine, while Alina Pastalouskaya from Belarus will be Hana Piralić's opponent.

Unlike the second day of competition, when judokas competed in only two categories, today they will compete in three: -81 kg, -90 kg, and +90 kg.

David Čečura and Božidar Vučurević will compete in the up to 81 kg category, and their opponents will be the French Arnaud Aregba and Maxime Gael Ngayap Habou.

Srđan Ajvaz in the up to 90 kg category will face Vince Klijsena from the Netherlands, while the first obstacle for Igor Vračar in the over 90 kg category will be the Belgian Yves Ndao.

Today is the last day of individual competitions at the European Judo Championship, which concludes tomorrow with team competitions. Teams can register for the team competition, which will conclude this year's continental championship, until 12:00 PM today.

The final block and medal fights are scheduled for today starting at 4:00 PM, while the draw for the team competition will take place half an hour earlier.
