Enver Išerić: Foreign judges are a constitutional category and guardians of the BiH Constitution

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Doctor of Law Enver Išerić has spoken out about the attacks on the Constitutional Court of BiH, telling Milorad Dodik that it is not a "political fight" but a "game of roulette" with which he wants to lead the citizens of BiH to a tragedy of unprecedented proportions.

"It should be clear to you that foreign judges are a constitutional category, just like the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and constitutional norms cannot be changed by law. Only the method of their election can be changed by law (e.g., in consultation with the Presidency and the academic community). Only by amending the Constitution can the composition of the Constitutional Court of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina be changed and thus satisfy your wish to eliminate foreign judges from its composition. And that will happen when you stop working against your own homeland and when we establish the state and its institutions according to the standards of modern democratic states and ensure equal rights for all citizens throughout the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Until then, foreign judges in the Constitutional Court will remain guardians of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina," states Išerić.

The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the only institution through which the destroyers of Bosnia cannot act, Išerić believes.

"That is why the Constitutional Court is under attack. However, foreign judges will remain until the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina is changed, whether someone likes it or not, and if the obstruction and blocking of the work of state institutions continue, prepare for a return to operating under the Constitution of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as foreseen by the constitutional law of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina of December 12, 1995," says Išerić.
