Enid Tahirović joins the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Celebrated BH handball player Enid Tahirović today, by signing the membership form, officially became a member of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This celebrated athlete and former BH national handball team representative thus confirmed his dedication to the idea of social democracy.

The signing of the membership form was attended by SDP BiH President Nermin Nikšić, SDP BiH Main Board President Saša Magazinović, and Samir Suljević, the bearer of the SDP BiH list for the Novo Sarajevo Municipal Council.

- I appreciate that SDP BiH, during the mandate of the FBiH Government led by Nermin Nikšić, always invested in BH national and club sports. It was precisely during this Government that the BH handball, football, and basketball national teams achieved some of the most significant sporting successes on the international stage. My joining SDP BiH is a desire to, through my work, help the further development of BH sports, and by that I mean not only handball but all other sports - said Tahirović.

President Nermin Nikšić thanked Enid Tahirović for becoming a member of the Social Democratic Party of BiH.

- SDP BiH has received a great reinforcement, because Enid Tahirović is a long-time successful athlete and activist. His arrival is confirmation that SDP is an open party for all those who want to help the further development of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and sports in general - added Nikšić.
