Energoinvest requests FBiH Government to reduce natural gas price by 1.4%

(Patria) - Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo today informed the public that it has submitted a request to the Government of the Federation of BiH to reduce the price of natural gas for tariff customers by 1.4%.

Energoinvest states that this new price reduction comes at a time when the prices of this energy source in the region are increasing by up to 30%.

- In these challenging times, this reduction in the price of natural gas is the result of our efforts to ensure stability and favorable conditions for our citizens and economy.

We are aware of inflation and rising prices, and it is our responsibility to do everything we can to minimize the impact on end consumers - said Energoinvest Director Mirza Ustamujić.

If the FBiH Government approves the request, the new price of natural gas will be 0.825 KM/m³, and it will take effect on October 1, 2024.
