(Patria) - Energoinvest announced that based on the newly delivered price of natural gas for the fourth quarter of 2023 by Russian supplier Gazprom Export, it has recalculated the costs and the price of natural gas for tariff customers approved by the Government of FBiH.
The request for correction of the natural gas price was submitted to the Government on October 6, 2023, and it summarily results in a total increase in the price of natural gas by 4.96% compared to the price from the previous quarter.
"The increase in the price of natural gas was influenced by the rise in the price of petroleum products, which affect the formation of natural gas production prices. There has also been a trend of increasing the value of USD against EUR and KM, which summarily resulted in the aforementioned increase," said Energoinvest.
If the Government of FBiH approves the stated request, the new selling price of natural gas to the distributor Sarajevogas will be 0.837 KM/m3 compared to the price from the previous quarter, which was 0.797 KM/m3, and it will be applied from 01.10.2023.
This is the first increase in the price of natural gas in 2023, and so far, in the period from January 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023, the price of gas has decreased by 37.4% compared to the last quarter of 2022.
