Energoinvest and BH Gas Agree with Russian Gazprom on Gas Supply for 2017

In line with long-standing cooperation, Energoinvest d.d. – Sarajevo and BH Gas have extended the contract with Gazprom Export (Russian Federation) for the supply of natural gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2017, announced Energoinvest, as reported by Patria.

Namely, in accordance with contractual obligations, Energoinvest, as the authorized importer of gas for BiH, has ensured that the necessary quantities of gas will be available to users in our country. The extension was facilitated by the regular settlement of obligations towards the Russian partner, thereby enabling consumers in BiH to have a regular supply of natural gas during the next year.

This has created the prerequisites for increasing the share of natural gas in the country's energy mix, and consequently reducing the pollution to which citizens are exposed, especially in Sarajevo Canton.
