Energetic DF candidate in Bosanska Krupa who doesn't smear rivals wins ahead of SDP and SDA

(Patria) - The pre-election race in Krajina, specifically Bosanska Krupa, would be monotonous if the energetic candidate of the Democratic Front, Edvin Alijanović, hadn't emerged between the candidates of the SDP and SDA, believes political analyst Ilija Trninić.

In an interview with the portal Buka.com, Trninić points out that, according to surveys conducted in this city, it was initially felt that the current mayor would easily achieve his fifth term, but the equalized rating in the middle of the election campaign period and the already evident advantage of Alijanović in the final stretch of the race for the city's top official give a chance to all those who desire new energy and positive changes.

He emphasizes that Bosanska Krupa is one of the rare cities where the current mayor has served four terms.

- Successful for some, too present and already monotonous for others, it is definitely felt that a change is needed in the discourse of leadership and programmatic orientations.

The current mayor, Halitović, is from the SDP, and it was expected that his opponent would be from an old, known, and traditional party like the SDA.

This is the case, but it would also be monotonous if the energetic and very different candidate from another, civic option, Edvin Alijanović, hadn't emerged - Trninić states in his analysis for Buka.

- Although he served as a minister in the USK, very successfully, well, and honestly in the eyes of many, he shone as a glimmer of hope for all those tired of the struggle between the left and the right.
