Emrić for NAP: The right to use official vehicles 24/7 in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has been abolished!

(Patria) - Yesterday, at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Report on the Performance Audit on the topic: "Fleet Management in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina" was discussed and adopted.

The audit, through this Report, showed that the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not manage their vehicle fleet in an efficient and economical manner.

This audit concluded that the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury do not have data on the total number and types of vehicles for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor is there a simple way to obtain such data.

Therefore, there is no data on the total number and types of vehicles in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is unacceptable and devastating.

The audit, through the analysis of the fixed assets module, determined that the total number of all types of vehicles in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of December 31, 2022, is around 4,100, and that 15 million KM is spent annually on the current expenses of this vehicle fleet.

Jasmin Emrić, a representative of the National Democratic Alliance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, commenting on the report, proposed a conclusion that was adopted, which abolishes the right to use official vehicles 24/7 for all representatives of the House of Representatives, regardless of the function they perform in that House, as well as for secretaries and management officials appointed by the House of Representatives.

"A good example for us to show readiness to regulate this messy situation of using official vehicles, and the best, most logical way is to set an example that the House of Representatives starts cleaning and regulating this from this session," concluded Emrić.

Emrić's conclusion adopted
