Emir Spahić: Write to us about how the reconstruction is going

The BiH national football team will play a friendly match against Ivory Coast on Friday night into Saturday (our time) as part of preparations for the World Cup in Brazil, writes the Patria News Agency.

The match will be played in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome stadium. Safet Sušić's team expects success at this stadium, which they confirmed at the press conference. However, the captain of the BiH team, Emir Spahić, proves that they have not forgotten the current situation in our country, which has been hit by catastrophic floods.

He wrote the following on his Facebook profile:

- Dear friends, as we are far from our BiH and don't have much information here in America about how the work is progressing in the areas affected by floods and landslides, please send us some "material" so we know how the reconstruction is going! Thank you very much. Your Dragons – wrote Spahić.
