Emir Kurtić Appointed Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of BiH

(Patria) - The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH) at its last meeting last year gave approval to the Governor to appoint Prof. Dr. Emir Kurtić as Vice-Governor of the CBBiH, responsible for the Sector for Statistics, External Debt Servicing, European Integration and Payment Systems.

Dr. Kurtić is a professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo, at the Department of Management and Organization, in the fields of corporate governance, strategic management, human resource management and organizational coaching. He is the author of scientific and professional papers, and a consultant with many years of experience in business development and international cooperation projects.

He was appointed to the position of Vice-Governor for a four-year term, starting from January 1, 2025.
