Emir and High Officials of the State of Qatar Congratulate on Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day

(Patria) - The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, sent congratulations on the occasion of November 25, Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reported the Qatari state news agency QNA.

The Qatari sovereign, in accordance with good diplomatic practice, sent his congratulations to the current Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić.

The Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, also congratulated Komšić on November 25.

The Prime Minister of the State of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, sent congratulations on the occasion of Statehood Day to Borjana Krišto, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Incidentally, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Meshaal Ali Mohammad Abdullah Al-Attiyah, sent his sincerest congratulations to all citizens on the occasion of November 25, Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the congratulatory message, published on the official social media accounts of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Sarajevo, it is stated:

The State of Qatar and Bosnia and Herzegovina are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations this year.

The relations between Qatar and Bosnia and Herzegovina are strong, friendly, and fraternal, and as such, they have bound the two countries from Bosnia and Herzegovina's independence to the present day.

The sincerity of these relations was most directly confirmed during the most difficult wartime trials in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as during the post-war reconstruction and development of the country.
