Eme Tours files criminal complaint against Zelkanović, students will get their money back

Regarding the events that occurred on February 12 in Sarajevo in front of the National Museum when students did not embark on their paid trip, the company Eme Tours, which organized the trip, has issued a statement, writes Patria.

We want to inform the public that Alaga Zelkanović has defrauded both our company "Eme" d.o.o. Travnik and the students who intended to travel to Istanbul that day. We emphasize that our company was founded in 1998 and has never engaged in, nor will it engage in, the activities being reported in the media these days. Our company "Eme" d.o.o. from Travnik did not take money from the students; instead, the students paid money into Alaga Zelkanović's account – stated Eme Tours.

They also provided a payment slip from student Ajna Sadiković, who paid 580.00 KM to Zelkanović Alaga's account via "Raiffeisen" bank.

- Our company has started refunding those students who provide valid proof that they were defrauded by Zelkanović Alaga, even though we have not yet received any money for student transportation to Istanbul. In this way, we want to mitigate the damage caused by this fraudster to our company. The company "Eme" d.o.o. has so far refunded: Rizak Amela, Turković Sakib, Zec Irfan, Hodžić Nermin, and Hodžić Insad – said the company.

They state that further refunds are being slowed down by the fact that Zelkanović has not provided them, despite their requests, with a list of all students and bank statements showing where students paid their money.

- We ask the public and the affected students to be patient, and the money will be refunded as soon as we receive the names of the remaining students and proof of their payments. We note that yesterday our company filed a criminal complaint against Zelkanović Alaga with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton (MUP SBK) in Travnik, and we hope for a swift conclusion of the legal proceedings in favor of the students and the company "Eme" d.o.o. Travnik – the company added.
