Elizabeth Warren announces candidacy for US presidential election in 2020

WASHINGTON, (Patria) - Democratic Senator from Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren announced her official nomination for the Democratic Party's candidate in the 2020 US presidential election today.

Her name has been mentioned in the American media for months as a possible candidate, and on the last day of this year, Warren announced the official start of her campaign.

In a video message, she stated that her vision of America is equal opportunity for all people, not just for the wealthy.

"That's the America I'm fighting for. And that's why I'm launching an exploratory committee for president today," Warren said.
