It only took a few days for the BiH Prosecutor's Office to form a case, and then promptly summon Zukan Helez, the BiH Minister of Defense, for questioning after his public statements in which he said he had information that military exercises with some Russian formations were being held in Rogatica.
Within the scope of the case, the minister was called to give a statement, and to present all the information, evidence, and facts at his disposal.
Contrary to this efficient action, the BiH Prosecutor's Office is currently silent, and is not summoning Sanja Vulić, an SNSD representative, for questioning regarding her claim that an assassination attempt is being prepared against Milorad Dodik.
“I have to share something with the public. We have information from certain circles of the American Embassy that an assassination attempt is being prepared against President Dodik. I am not saying this because I belong to SNSD, but based on what we received,” said Sanja Vulić, Vice-President of SNSD, on RTRS.
The Prosecutor's Office is clearly not interested in asking the high-ranking SNSD official Sanja Vulić who told her this from the US Embassy and what information she possesses.
And while the story about the 'assassination attempt' is slowly fading from public attention, today the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, triumphantly announces that a decision has been made to provide police protection to the head of the SNSD parliamentary group in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Sanja Vulić. The very same Sanja who cursed BiH institutions, a judge of the BiH Court, and all in front of the building where the Court and Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are located.
In the request for police protection, Nešić submitted comments from social networks, in which Vulić is called by derogatory names, which was a reaction to her barbaric behavior in front of the BiH Court building.
In this intervention/urgent reaction, it is important to emphasize that official security institutions of BiH have not yet provided information about Vulić's potential endangerment, and such assessments have already been requested. Just as in the case of the Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganović, who received police protection, but as we learn, security institutions later submitted their reports stating that Goganović is not a security risk. The same process will be followed in the case of Sanja Vulić.
And despite the new developments, it remains unclear why the BiH Prosecutor's Office has not questioned Vulić, given that police agencies (DKPT, FUP, MUP KS) have confirmed that there are no indications that anyone is planning to endanger the physical security of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
And the Minister of Police of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, also stated that the police are actively assessing the situation, but did not say that any attack on Milorad Dodik was being prepared.
