VIK teams on site: Malfunction at Mojmilo reservoir, disruptions in water supply

(Patria) - As part of regular maintenance activities on the water supply system, repair work will be carried out today, which may lead to interruptions in water supply in the following streets: Šukrije Pandže, Vlakovo, Kobiljak, Branislava Nušića, Dr. Mustafe Pintola, Bojnička, Dobroševićka, Azići, Harisa Merzića, Muhameda ef. Pandže, Rakovička cesta, Polje, Začardak, Butmirska cesta (Hotel Hills), and the settlements of Butmir and Donji Kotorac.

Normalization of water supply is expected after the completion of works in the afternoon.

Today, 02/10/2026, starting at 09:00 AM, due to planned works and the repair of a major malfunction on the main DN 1000 mm pressure pipeline from Bačevo to the "Mojmilo" Reservoir, which will take place on Harisa Merzića street, there may be disruptions and reduced pressure, meaning that some parts of the city at higher elevations and on higher floors may experience interruptions in water supply.

Settlements where disruptions and interruptions in water supply may occur are: Mojmilo, Dobrinja, Saraj polje, Alipašino polje, Čengić Vila, Otoka, Socijalno, Skenderija, Baščaršija, Buća potok, Briješće, Vitkovac, Zabrđe, Sokolje, Boljakov potok, Hrasno, Hrasno brdo, Šanac, Trg heroja, Švrakino selo, Aneks, Grbavica, Soukbunar, Cicin han, Bistrik, Pofalići (UNSA campus), Hrid, and Alifakovac.

Normalization of water supply is expected upon completion of the works.
