Civil Protection teams on the ground, water receded from flooded households

Yesterday's storm that hit Lukavac, Orašje and Bihać caused new floods. As confirmed by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Lukavac for the Bosnian news agency Patria, CP teams are on the ground and are working on pumping water out of buildings.

Ante Baotić from the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Orašje confirmed that yesterday's short downpour did not leave significant consequences.

- Water entered the basements but receded. Today the weather is nice and sunny – Baotić said.

On the other hand, the consequences of the storm that hit certain parts of the Municipality of Bihać are being remedied by Civil Protection teams, confirmed Fuad Delić from CP for Patria.   

- Water has receded from all houses in the local communities. The houses will be listed to carry out epidemiological protection. In all local communities, gravel has been cleared and roads are passable – Delić stated.
