Efendić: Leaders of the "Trojka" are still following the orders of Dodik and Čović

(Patria) - The President of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (SBiH) Semir Efendić sharply criticized the current government last night at the Electoral Assembly of the SBiH Old Town municipal organization, stating that the leaders of the "Trojka" – SDP, People and Justice, and Our Party – continue to follow the orders of their coalition partners, SNSD and HDZ.

“Instead of acting independently and in the interest of the state, the leaders of the "Trojka" obediently supported the appointment of Marin Vukoja, a member of HDZ, to the Constitutional Court of BiH, even though the law clearly stipulates that political officials cannot be elected to the Constitutional Court. The last session of the Constitutional Court showed the full destructiveness of that decision. Vukoja was the only judge who voted to accept Milorad Dodik's appeal and annul the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although his vote was not decisive now, the danger remains because he will participate in deciding key state issues for the next 20 years,” said Efendić.

The President of SBiH reminded that his party refused to participate in the government controlled by Dodik and Čović back in 2022, emphasizing that their decision was state-responsibly and principled. “Citizens clearly recognize today that there is at least one political option that can be trusted, that has not traded state interests, and that remains consistent with its principles. My greatest motivation and goal is a party that can be trusted and whose people will work honestly, in the interest of the state and citizens,” Efendić stated.
